NOTHING IS WRITTEN is the website of Irish writer and editor Ryan Kelly.
The name of the website is inspired by a famous line in the 1962 epic movie Lawrence of Arabia, starring the great Peter O’Toole: “Truly, for some men, nothing is written unless they write it.”
Born in Donegal, Ryan was educated at St Columb’s College, Derry and the National University of Ireland, Galway (now University of Galway). His work has appeared in GOAL, the Irish Times, Irish Independent, and the Echo. To see a selection of Ryan’s work, see his portfolio or peruse the latest from the blog.
NOTHING IS WRITTEN is a space in which Ryan explores a wide variety of topics, including philosophy, current affairs, socio-political issues, history, popular culture, sport and much more.
